Free accounts are moving to Seobility 2.0: everything you need to know

We're bringing all Free accounts over to Seobility 2.0, our new and improved all-in-one SEO software. If you've been using our previous version (Seobility 1.0) on a Free plan, this article explains exactly what's changing, when it happens, and what it means for you.

Good news first: your data is safe, there's nothing you need to set up, and everything is already waiting for you in Seobility 2.0. 💙

This change only affects Free (Basic) accounts. If you're on a Premium or Agency plan, nothing changes for you right now. There's just one thing worth knowing, see "A quick note for Premium users" below.

What's changing

Until now, you could switch back and forth between Seobility 1.0 and Seobility 2.0 whenever you liked.

Starting this July, all Free accounts move to Seobility 2.0 for good. When you log in, you'll land directly in Seobility 2.0, and the option to switch back to Seobility 1.0 will no longer be there.

That's the whole change. Same account, same login, same data, just in the newer, better version.

When is this happening?

We're rolling this out gradually between July 15 and July 31. We're moving accounts step by step, so everything keeps running smoothly for everyone.

Because it's gradual, you might be moved to Seobility 2.0 at any point in that window.

By July 31, all Free accounts will be on Seobility 2.0, and Seobility 1.0 will no longer be available on the Free plan.

Will I lose any of my data?

No, nothing is lost. We've already moved everything over for you: your projects, keywords, competitors, and historical data are all in Seobility 2.0 and ready to go. You don't need to export anything, re-add anything, or set anything up.

Not quite ready to switch? Your options

You don't have to do anything to move to Seobility 2.0, it happens automatically. But if you'd like more time or want to test the waters first, here are your options:

Try Seobility 2.0 with 30 days of Premium, free. Get a feel for everything the new version offers, no strings attached.

Prefer to stay on Seobility 1.0 a little longer? Upgrade to Premium. Premium works exactly the same in both versions, and it keeps your access to Seobility 1.0 (including the switch option) for now.

⏰ Timing matters here. To keep the option of using Seobility 1.0, you'll need to upgrade to Premium before July 15. Otherwise, you'll be switched to Seobility 2.0 only, and upgrading later won't bring back access to Seobility 1.0.

A quick note for Premium users

The move to Seobility 2.0 only affects Free accounts. If you're on Premium, you can keep using Seobility 1.0 or Seobility 2.0 exactly as you do today.

One thing to keep in mind: if you cancel your Premium plan, your account is treated like a Free account. That means you'll move to Seobility 2.0 and lose access to Seobility 1.0, with no way to switch back.

Who does this change affect?

When exactly will I be moved?

Sometime between July 15 and July 31. We're rolling it out gradually, so the exact day varies from account to account. By July 31, everyone on a Free plan will be on Seobility 2.0.

Do I need to do anything?

No. The move happens automatically, and all your data is already there. You can just log in and pick up where you left off.

What happens to my data?

It's all safe. Your projects, keywords, competitors, and historical data have already been moved to Seobility 2.0.

I logged in and Seobility 1.0 is gone. Did something break?

Nope, that's expected. It simply means your account has been moved to Seobility 2.0. Everything you had is still there.

Can I switch back to Seobility 1.0?

On a Free plan, no, once you've moved to Seobility 2.0, the switch-back option is gone. If you're on Premium, you can still switch between both versions for now.

Is Seobility 2.0 free too?

Yes. Your Free plan currently works the same in Seobility 2.0, at no cost. If you'd like more features, you can try Premium free for 30 days or upgrade any time.

I really prefer Seobility 1.0. What can I do?

Upgrade to Premium before July 15. Premium keeps your access to Seobility 1.0 (and the switch option) for now. Just note that upgrading later than that won't restore access to Seobility 1.0.

Will Seobility 1.0 disappear completely?

We're gradually retiring our older version and putting all our energy into making Seobility 2.0 the best it can be. Free accounts are the first to move. We'll share more about the timeline for everything else in good time.

How do I claim my 30 free days?

It's simple: just click the button in the email we sent you. This is offer is only valid for Seobility 1.0 free subscriptions until 07.31.2026.
